Fino is a fantastic hiking and paddle boarding buddy. She is fun to train and compete with and excelled at nose work from the very beginning, earning her CKC Novice title in scent detection at exactly 6 months old–the first day she was old enough to trial; with two High in Class placements to top it off! The pandemic, weather events, and inconveniently timed heat cycles interfered with our lure coursing goals, but she is keen on the lure and runs clean. A few other fun accomplishments: she earned her Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Trick Dog titles all before or around 5 months of age and was the fastest Novice whippet in Barn Hunt in 2020 (with two High in Class and a 3rd placement). Fino is a major cuddle-bug with her humans and canine housemates alike.
